What is COVID-19 Cardiac Evaluation?
COVID-19 cardiac disease is real. Determining what symptoms are from normal recovery from the virus compared to what represents cardiovascular disease is where Dr. Kolski can help.
Why COVID-19 Cardiac Evaluation?
Patients with previous COVID-19 infection have experienced many heart-related complications related directly to the virus, as well as the vaccine. Patients can experience significant brady (slow) arrhythmias and tachy (fast) arrhythmias. Evaluation for this can often be done with cloud-based wearable technology that is totally wireless.
When patients suffer from heart failure and conditions related to low blood pressure, often advanced imaging techniques are needed (Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, Echocardiography). Cardiac biomarker analysis is often helpful in determining the acute nature of COVID related cardiac disease.
Patients suffering from COVID-19 related illness can experience problems with blood clotting and coagulation disorders. Laboratory analysis can help determine if patients are at higher risk for blood clotting events like stroke or heart attack.
Our approach
At Orange County Heart Institute, Dr. Kolski is committed to an accurate diagnosis and evidence based approach to treatment. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought forward a host of predatory health “experts” that prey on vulnerable patients. Anyone promoting a cure or unproven treatments care more about their bank accounts, than for the patient’s well-being.
